So there is construction going on across the street and it's only annoying when someone opens the front door!
It's an out of the way location... only came here with friends because one of them lives in the area... otherwise I never even heard of this place.
We came on a Wednesday during happy hour... the red wine was just ehh. But pizzas were $10.50 as their daily special so we ordered 3... marketplace was a good veggie option, the prawn pizza and lastly the smoked salmon... they were all tasty. We also enjoyed the warm baked Brie, home made salsa and chips! And the perogies were good too! So, yes the food was d!
The server was pretty good, checking on us often. And since we had a group of 8 they automatically added gratuity which is pretty standard.
All in all, this place is what you would expect off Main Street... so if your in the neighbourhood go and have happy hour and their food was tasty... but I don't think I would go there again as it wasn't spectacular in any way, I think there are better options in the area.

Went in with three people to get a drink and some shared appetizers on Nov 7, 2019, and had hands down the worst food I have eaten in a restaurant in Vancouver in recent memory.
Waitress was very nice, and she had no problems dealing with our issues with the food. The drinks were fine.
Lets talk about this food. Macaroni and cheese was completely bland, I don't think it had any salt added to it at all, and also tasted burnt. Either it was cooked in a pot that had been burnt at the bottom and never cleaned, or was just permanently charred, something was wrong there. The Baked Brie arrived under baked on the exterior and freezing cold and hard on the inside, completely missing the point of why you would order a baked Brie. It must be pre-frozen and then slapped in the oven to warm through, but maybe they just get impatient waiting for it to be cooked completely? We cancelled the Tuna Tataki, because if they messed up cheese twice, we would be putting our lives in danger letting them prepare raw fish for us.
The restaurant also has a really strange damp musty smell as soon as you walk in. Things are not being cleaned, it's really obvious, you can smell it.
    Yikes, bad, avoid.

I ordered a wild mushroom risotto and steak bites. Both tasted good. The issue here, please refer to photos, and you will see the take out I got tonight vs what's on the website menu. It's deceiving on the portion. I did call back and asked why. They did explain that the photo was from 2013 and offered more steak if I went back. That's not how business is done. It's dishonest. Is it even 63 Acres steak?

    A solid 3.5 Stars.

Love the vibe and atmosphere! The space is warm and welcoming - just what we needed to escape the snow and cold. Service is really friendly and attentive.

Unfortunately, the food fell a bit short for us. We tried the steak bites, tuna tartar salad, pizza and burger. The price for the value just wasn't there.

However, it was a great place for drinks and dessert. The wine and Moscow Mule were both good. We also tried the seasonal cheesecake and apple pie - both were very yummy.

This place is not my cup of tea. The service is sub-par, the food is bland and I did not feel that the place had good value. While the decor is nice and the place is in an attractive neighborhood, they are not living up to their potential.

I waited at the bar and it took a good 20 mins to get a seat. The waitress was rude and the food took a good 40 mins to get. I had the steak and my bf had a bacon burger. The waitress was clumsy and dropped cutlery on my bf's lap and was barely apologetic.

I am definitely not going  back and I would have been able to get better service elsewhere.
